A Note About Hillside Festival Tickets
As Hillside Festival continues to grow, we’re making a small change to how our weekend passes are sold!
Starting with 2027, we’re moving from our traditional Early Bird model to a limited-number, tiered ticket system. Instead of ticket prices changing on a set date, each price will be available until that ticket tier sells out. Once it’s gone, the next tier will begin.
We’re also making Youth and Senior discounted weekend passes available earlier, rather than waiting until the winter! These passes will remain available through the 2027 festival weekend, as long as weekend passes are still available!
Why Now?
Like many arts and cultural organizations, we’re seeing changes in when and how people buy tickets. Moving to a tiered model gives us a little more flexibility to respond to those changes, while helping us plan responsibly for the year ahead.
Hillside is a non-profit festival, and ticket revenue plays an important role in making the festival happen. It helps us pay artists fairly, support our staff and volunteers, keep the festival accessible, and continue the environmental, community, and cultural work that makes our summer weekends on Guelph Lake Island so special.
At the heart of it, our goal is simple: to keep Hillside sustainable and here for the long haul!

Ticket policies
- Children 12 and under are admitted for free when accompanied by an adult.
- Youth weekend tickets (ages 13-24) and senior weekend tickets (ages 65+) must be presented with ID at the festival gate.
- Tickets are non-refundable (except when an event is cancelled).
- E-Tickets do not need to be printed; they can be scanned from a mobile device.
- Ticket price does not include parking or camping.
- Hillside is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced tickets or wristbands.
Festival policies
- Event is rain or shine.
- Dogs are not permitted on the site (except service dogs). Service animals are permitted. If you are bringing a service animal, you must also bring documentation from a regulated health professional confirming the animal is required to work with you to service your disability.
- All policies of the park must be observed.
- Alcohol and/or illegal substances may not be brought into the festival site.
- Hillside Festival is not responsible for any loss, personal injury or damages to patrons or volunteers howsoever they may arise in relation to participation in the festival.
- All ticket holders, accompanying children, guests and vendors acknowledge the right of Hillside Festival to capture likenesses and/or voices in photo or video without any written release or further compensation, for any purposes whatsoever.

Island Early Bird Weekend: $159Early Bird Weekend: $189
Tier 1 Weekend: $219 (available until December 31 or while quantities last)
Senior & Youth Weekend: $160 (available until weekend pass quantities last)
*taxes and fees are included in the price
Single-day tickets are usually released in the spring—subject to change
Hours
Friday: Gates open at 4:30 PM, Programming starts at 5:30 PM
Saturday: Gates open at 10:00 AM, Programming starts at 11:00 AM
Sunday: Gates open at 9:30 AM, Programming starts at 10:30 AM
