The Laws (Kingsville Folk Music Festival)

The Laws are John and Michele Law, award-winning “Folk-Grass” singer songwriters and festival producers. Known for tight-as-a-glove harmony singing and hot licks, The Laws played throughout Canada, the US and Australia before settling in Kingsville, Ontario. The Kingsville Folk Music Festival, established 2014, is their dream and vision to bring world-class folk music to southwestern Ontario.

Celebrating its 7th year, the Kingsville Folk Music Festival has established itself as one of Southwest Ontario’s summer destination spots for fans and lovers of music ranging from Blues to Bluegrass, Celtic to Country, Roots and Indie.

​Located in the picturesque setting Lakeside Park in Kingsville, Canada’s most southerly town, the Festival is a three-day event offering audiences multiple stages and diverse choices of musical styles. Daytime workshops are renowned for delivering unexpected collaborations and high impact performances.

​The Kingsville Folk Music Festival promotes and inspires emerging artists from the region as well as presenting some of Canada’s most respected musical ambassadors such as Bruce Cockburn, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Cowboy Junkies, Jimmy Rankin and Natalie MacMaster.
