The Funky Mamas have been sharing our love of community and authentic live, interactive musical performances with our audiences of all ages for over two decades now.
Inspired by traditional folk music, we play a mixture of familiar and original tunes that cross several genres with an emphasis on live instrumentation and vocal harmonies and inspiring audiences to play, dance and sing along. We are Tannis, Georgia, Richard and Bernd and we play a combination of acoustic instruments including bass, guitar, ukulele, mandolin and even the musical saw! For this Virtual Hillside video, we are delighted to have our special guests Juliet Juniper, Audrey Aster and Myrie Magnolia who romped around the garden as sweet little fairies do! Enjoy!
