This is a Facebook Live event. February 6th at 8pm EST. Click here for more details or see below.
Shred Kelly is a five piece, alternative folk rock band that emerged from the heart of the Canadian Rockies in 2009. Over the past decade the band have taken their highly energetic live show from humble beginnings on the Canadian ski-town circuit to the international stage.
The band’s striking and energy-packed sound has evolved from their eclectic musical influences and their unique experiences as individuals. Their progressive pairing of acoustic instrumentation with electric counterparts, harmonies, and driving rhythm, continues to develop and reach new heights.
Over the years, Shred Kelly has had the opportunity to perform across Canada and internationally at festivals such as Reeperbahn Festival, Australian Music Week, Folk Alliance, SXSW, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Ottawa Bluesfest, Mariposa Folk Festival, SKOOKUM Festival, and Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival.
Shred Kelly will be keeping you company again this winter in your living rooms every Saturday Night in February. Each show will include a 40 minute full band set, an episode of ‘Festival Season’ (a comedy series curated for the tour), and a campfire song featuring unplugged songs from iconic performers who have graced the stages of the music festivals they’ll be performing at.
This show will be airing for free on Hillside’s Facebook page. Although you can tune in for free, purchasing a ticket supports the Shred Kelly, production team, and each festival during a challenging time for the music industry. In addition, 25% of proceeds will be donated to Protect Our Winters Canada and the incredible work they do.
