Obsurd is an indie psych-alternative based band from Guelph Ontario. Formed in 2016, the band is comprised of guitarist/vocalist Aidan Carney, guitarist/vocalist Jacob Nielsen, bassist Spencer Charlton, and drummer Alex Nielsen. Prior to the covid 19 pandemic, Obsurd has built a strong live show through performances at Hillside Festival 2018, Hillside inside 2019, Gain Music Festival, and more. In 2020 the band independently recorded, and produced their debut album, releasing the album’s first single, Addiction and its accompanying music video on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and YouTube.
JamSchool is a performance-based music education centre with two locations in Guelph, Ontario. We offer private music instruction and contemporary band classes, both in-person and online. Our focus is on creating an environment to learn and interact with other students through regularly scheduled performances, allowing our students to take the stage with their peers.
