Guelph-born Nathan Lawr is one of the unsung heroes of the Canadian indie-rock renaissance, having served as the drummer of choice for many artists, including Feist and FemBots, while also being a key collaborator in the 1990s Guelph scene that spawned Constantines, Jim Guthrie, and Royal City. After years fronting indie-funk band Minotaurs, Lawr is back exploring his folkier side with clever and heartfelt lyrics set to compositional twists and turns.
