Myriam Gendron was born in Ottawa and grew up between Gatineau, Washington D.C., and Paris. She settled in Montreal, where she currently makes her living as a book dealer. Her 2014 debut, featuring poems by Dorothy Parker set to music, landed on several best-of lists. Gendron’s 2021 bilingual double album Ma délire – Songs of love, lost & found, is a modern exploration of North American folk tales and traditional melodies.
