Kitchener, Ont. singer-songwriter Lynn Jackson has been writing and performing original music for more than 25 years. Jackson’s songs are fierce and tender, searching and powerful, as she draws us into her world and characters with enduring narratives and strong melodies. She’s released 12 albums of original music — the last two during the pandemic: Lionheart (2020) and I Am Only the Moon (2022). Her expansive musical style has drawn comparisons to Lucinda Williams, Chrissie Hynde, Alison Krauss, and Kathleen Edwards. Jackson has recorded with Bob Egan (Blue Rodeo), Michael Timmins (Cowboy Junkies) and Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub).
