Kween

Guelph born and raised, University of Guelph Alumni, Valedictorian Graduate from the Randolph Academy for Performing Arts, Kween is living out her passions. She is a dance teacher, actor, singer, and model. She also owns two businesses: The Heels Academy @theheelsacademy and just recently The Kween Company @thekweencompany. She teaches heels dance for adults, Soca/Dancehall/Afro at the University of Guelph, leads fitness classes, and runs one-on-ones for adults.  During basketball off-season, Kween is the team coordinator and choreographer for The Guelph Nighthawks Flight Crew @nighthawks.cebl. ⁣

Within the coloured communities, Kween advocates for the rights of African and Caribbean people. Dedicated to Carnival, she helps to promote through Epic Carnival Toronto and gives her time back into the high schools teaching dance and mentoring during Black History Month. She has been an active volunteer for little under a year with GBHS doing social media and sitting on the board.

Kween is the leader of Guelph BLM Protest and so honoured to be the new Executive Director and Community Engagement Coordinator for GBHS.
