Join Kathy Stinson for a reading of her first book, Red Is Best, inspired by her daughter, and from her most recent, The Girl Who Loved Giraffes and Became the World’s First Giraffologist, inspired by a film she saw at Guelph’s own Bookshelf Cinema.
Kathy Stinson has loved reading since before she started school. She sorted mail, taught elementary school, and worked as a waitress before it occurred to her that she might like writing too. Author of picture books, non-fiction, young adult fiction, historical fiction, biography, series books, and stories in anthologies, she has enjoyed meeting with readers in every province and territory of Canada, in the States, Britain, Liberia, and Korea. Kathy lives in Rockwood, Ontario.
