Guest Curator Statement:
As an Ojibway and Blackfoot artist, I am honored to curate this year’s Hillside Summer Festival, weaving together the powerful voices of Indigenous artists. This lineup reflects the heartbeat of our communities — from traditional sounds to modern beats — celebrating resilience, creativity, and connection to the land. My journey as a DJ, music producer, and men’s fancy dancer has taught me that our art is not just expression; it’s ceremony, storytelling, and resistance. Let this festival be a space where cultures collide, spirits soar, and our shared rhythm leads us forward.
