Alexandra Delle Donne

This season, soprano Alexandra Delle Donne will be pursuing her Graduate Degree in Historical Performance at the University of Toronto. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in classical Voice Performance in 2018. Alexandra has joined the studio of Daniel Taylor, head of the Historical Department at the University of Toronto.

Alexandra will be performing with Vera Causa Opera (VCO, Waterloo) in the production of Humperdincks’ Hansel and Gretel: The Movie 2020, as Gretel. She is excited to be performing her first major lead role with VCO. She also joins COSA this season, performing in Palej’s The Art of Love as Cosmetician #2, as well as a special project.

Other exciting news includes joining Amplified Opera located in Toronto, Ontario as their student intern. 

Alexandra was also a lead soloist in Handel’s Acis and Galatea, directed by Isaiah Bell and Erik Thor in 2019. In this same year she joined Opera in Concert and Toronto Operetta Theatre under the direction of Guillermo Silva-Marin and Robert Cooper.
