Hillside Inside 2021
Because Hillside Inside takes place in the cold of February, we are always trying to warm people up either by filling them with hot chocolate at Hillside Hockey or having them run from one venue to another to see the next great performance. We have always wanted to offer a true bluegrass jam where people bring their own instruments and participate in the creation of songs with the band, one of the most warming and exhilarating experiences involving a community of improvisers. But it hasn’t been easy to fit everybody in—both in terms of space and time. Though it may seem counter-intuitive, we are going to try it virtually. So, when you’re ready, grab your spoons or double bass, and thaw out with The Slocan Ramblers.
