Adwoa Badoe presents “The Magic Tree of the Sahel”, a folktale of the Soninke people of West Africa.
Adwoa Badoe is the published author of several books for children and young adults. As a performance storyteller, she focuses on folktales from her native Ghana, and all over the continent of Africa. She has performed her stories at many festivals and schools in Canada and abroad. Adwoa Badoe is also a dancer and choreographer. Her inspiration is to showcase Africa to the world and display the continent’s wealth of art, creativity and wisdom for the participation of all.
