Hillside Summer Festival 2018
July 13 - 15
LADAMA is an ensemble of women musicians from across the Americans with rhythm and percussion driving their original composition sung in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Their performance will introduce children to multiple styles from the Afro-latin music tradition, including: Cumbia (Colombia), Baião (Brazil) and Joropo (Venezuela). Children will be encouraged to clap the different Afro-latin rhythms, sing in three different languages, and learn traditional dance moves.
