Eccentric (and much-distracted) cartoonist and illustrator Seth (aka Gregory Gallant) has built and staged a complete marionette play about fictional cartoonist Albert Batch. This short film captures six minutes of it. The film will play on a loop at the Bookshelf all day. This event is FREE and co-presented with The Guelph Film Festival.

This is the sixth year that our winter festival has offered a drumming workshop for the experienced and inexperienced alike. Guelph’s Jamie Andrews of Jembe Solutions, who focuses on West African percussion, will facilitate this year’s free workshop. Participants are invited to bring along their own drums or to use the ones we will have on hand. Come make some joyful noise!
Join Gary Diggins for a spirited session of creating moods, modes, and soundscapes. No musical experience is necessary. User-friendly instruments will be available. We’ll play with vocal and instrument possibilities, using the airwaves as our canvas. Listen. Explore. Express.
