We're a Registered Charity Now

We’re proud to officially announce Hillside Community Festival became a registered charity this year. We are graciously asking friends of the festival to Help Hillside Flourish this holiday season! As we mentioned, Hillside is so much more than a music festival. In addition to our two annual festivals we also:

  • Present Aboriginal Education Workshops in local schools,
  • Facilitate our Girls & Guitars program to ensure young women continue to break barriers in the male dominated music industry,
  • Provide a platform for youth musicians to learn about professional technical production and stage presence,
  • Assist in conducting sustainability research regarding large scale events,
  • Ensure that our festival is employing the most up to date environmental and accessibility practices, and
  • Donate over $20,000 in tickets to families in our community who can’t afford to attend

Everything Hillside does is in an effort to promote peacemaking, originality, and the generous embrace of all people and great music. Help us stay true to our grassroots and commercial-free! Help us stay strong, respected, open, and green! Donate to our Fundrazr campaign here.
